Peter Lindbergh in Beijing! THE UNKNOWN

Legendary photographer Peter Lindbergh came last week to Beijing to launch his expedition ’The Uknown’ at one of the top 798 art district galleries, UCCA. Vogue China Editor, Angelica Cheung, and Vogue Italia Editor Franco Sozzani joined Linbergh for a public debate on fashion photography at the event (April 2nd), curated by UCCA director Jerome Sans. Franco tweeted from the talk “I’m in Beijing with Peter Lindbergh talking about photography with young students…. Very interesting!”
Also in attendance was Vogue China International Fashion Director at Large, Nicoletta Santoro – who right at the start was invited by Peter Lindbergh to take a bow from the front row of the audience. The Italian stylist was in town to work with Lindbergh on a new Vogue China fashion shoot.
The debate at UCCA was a fascinating insight into the thoughts of key decision makers at the top of the fashion industry, now, and over the past two or three decades.
Lindbergh gave insights into his photography – explaining how digital technology has changed fashion shoots and his own shooting style! To see Peter Lindbergh talking about his exhibition The Uknown click here
