The new August edition of Vogue China is out featuring a five page Tom Ford editorial, entitled ‘Mr. Ford’, in which BPS provided lighting, set build and assistants. The legendary US designer is interviewed alongside a shoot featuring five ‘it’ lades from China’s elite social scene. Tom took the shots and then appears in the images alongside the ladies, shooting with a remote cable release.
BPS Director Ben McMillan was lucky enough to work directly with Tom and his long-term assistant Simon Perry, handling lighting for the technically tricky semi-self portrait shoot. The BPS team also provided set build based on Tom’s specific directions and sourced props. Great fun!
