Another Armani shoot in May saw Chinese Supermodel Du Juan featured in the editorial Operación Dragón for Vogue Spain’s September Issue. BPS provided production support, including location scouting. The Vogue Spain team went for a uniquely Beijing setting at the prestigious boutique hotel, The Temple, near The Forbidden City.

New York photographer Max Vadukul came to Beijing in May to shoot a series of high profile Chinese artists wearing Armani for Vogue Germany. The shoot was of several supported by BPS that were linked to a ‘One Night Only’, a major Armani fashion show at the 798 art district in Beijing, at which Giorgio Armani himself was in attendance.
The GQ Style team were back in the BPS studio earlier this autumn — this time to shoot a cover story by Kai Z Feng, featuring Hao Yunxiang on the cover.
The new August edition of Vogue China is out featuring a five page Tom Ford editorial, entitled ‘Mr. Ford’, in which BPS provided lighting, set build and assistants. The legendary US designer is interviewed alongside a shoot featuring five ‘it’ lades from China’s elite social scene. Tom took the shots and then appears in the images alongside the ladies, shooting with a remote cable release.
BPS Director Ben McMillan was lucky enough to work directly with Tom and his long-term assistant Simon Perry, handling lighting for the technically tricky semi-self portrait shoot. The BPS team also provided set build based on Tom’s specific directions and sourced props. Great fun!
Another credit for BPS in Vogue China, working with a team of industry legends for the June cover story, ‘Beijing Romance‘, with supermodel Natalia Vodianova shot by Peter Lindbergh.
